A man after my own heart.
After working overnights, Husband is bright eyed and bushy tailed around noon and I’m sound asleep. The funny thing is, though, he will walk around the bed and make noises and ask if I need things because he really wants me to wake up to be with him. Some may find this incredibly annoying but I think it’s adorable. All he wanted was for me to wake up and sit next to him on the couch while he watches a movie, nothing more. He just wanted to see me and chat with me before going out riding with his father. Tonight he wants to cook us dinner and I can’t wait. When this man cooks, he cooks! Hopefully my father-in-law doesn’t keep him from me too terribly long, I’m ready for some Husband/Wife time. We may go pick up my little niece so her pregnant mommy can rest off last nights’ ER visit. Seeing Husband love on her and care for her is so so precious, I can only imagine how lucky our kids will be to have him as their father. Okay, okay, I will stop gushing…for now.

My decision to marry young has defined me, it has tested me and it has saved me. We have and are still beating the odds and the statistics that we have been labeled by. We love deeply and every day that love grows deeper. We want children in the future and while this may be more difficult than we planned, we'll be enjoying our time together until we are ready for that next step. I'm a lover of God and a believer in everything He has created.
